Felting a Beret

Create a felted wool beret using wet felting techniques over a template.

In this 2.5 hrs. workshop you will design and create a custom beret. The amount of time needed will vary for each participant. Everyone will leave with a beret ready to layout to dry and full instructions to complete the beret.

Materials; 50gms of fine merino wool, assorted silk and wool fibre, circle template, bubblewrap,

plastic film, pool noodle, towel, soap and water, vinegar 

Procedure; design, layout wool, wet, rolling, fulling, rinse, lay flat to dry
